Turbomachine Technology

BBS Turbomachine Technology (BBS-TT), as part of Bilfinger Berger Power Services (BBPS), is an independent service provider for machine technology in power stations and compressor stations. The range of services includes services on components of turbomachines as well as services for the operating process of the plants (overall and partial processes). The competence of the division focuses not only on on-site service but also in the re-engineering of turbo-set components and on the thermodynamic evaluation of plants.

BBS-TT offers services across the entire life cycle of the plants (i.e. building/origination - operation/use - revitalisation). Apart from the actual turbine itself the range of service competences includes valves, generators and auxiliaries such as preheaters and pumps as well as electrical engineering and instrumentation and control.

The services of BBS Turbomachine Technology include in detail:

Engineering Services:
All engineering activities required for the operation and maintenance of the equipment as well as support for the operation of the power plant (e.g. optimisation measures).

Field Services:
Assembly, overhaul, inspection and testing up to the performance of all necessary repairs and modernisation work for turbo-sets and their components.

Spare Parts Services and Manufacturing:
Supply of standard and special parts for the equipment, including design and modification as per the state-of-the-art technology.

Measurement Services:
Measurement and analyses of mechanical, electrical and thermodynamic operating parameters of single components as well as the entire cycle.
